Good-Bye Greeny Petey
Today we let go of Grayson's turtle Greeny Petey. We took him to a small pond in our neighborhood where he would space to swim & plenty of minnows to eat. Our friends found him in their swimming pool skimmer & let us have him. I think Keith was more excited about Greeny Petey's arrival then the kids. Greeny Petey started out about the size of a half dollar but soon his shell measured 6 inches. We had so much fun watching him grow. The strange thing is...I miss him the most. Good luck Greeny Petey, we'll visit you soon!

Awwww. OH my! I almost teared up watching him swim away. So cool, that you guys took such good care of him and then let him go so he could grow even more. Sniff.
